Did a little research on my holley tbi return line and there are a lot of contraversal opinions on where to run it. I dont have easy access to a welder so an existing line would be wonderful. Vent or whatever. My manuel says not to plumb it into a tank vent. What you guys think I should do for my 72. Fellow first gens with the same set ups opinion greatly appreciated.

I just used the vent hose that originally went to the charcoal canister. The bad thing is you have to go through and remove all of the vapor/liquid seperator lines that run all over the back and to the left rear corner. Make sure you replace every piece of rubber in the return line otherwise you will have a leak.

And the contraversies begin. Vent hose 1, Filler neck 1. Whats workin better around steep inclines, sharp curves?

I used the Moroso filler neck splice kit on my TPI swap on my 85. I didn't realize there was already a return line there until I had spent the time cutting into the filler neck hose. In your case since you don't have a return line I would do the filler hose splice.

I found a hose allready running next to my filler neck. tapped it and tested it, runs good. But, Broke my intake tryin to get out a seized plug where my temp sensor was gonna go.:doah::mad: Back to square one again with the top half of my engine dissasembled. I'll spend alittle more time on my return line this time. I like your idea of just tappin the filler neck. You think my technique will work just as good? Filler neck 2. Vent hose 1.

Make sure that if you use the vent hose, that it is still somehow plumbed to the atmosphere. You don't want to get a bath the next time you open the gas cap after getting the tank warm.
