Don't know if this is the right thread or not, but, after being a "lurker" for the past 2.5 years, I've FINALLY gotten not one, but TWO K5's. Granted, one (85) took a moderate front end hit that was enough to total it and the other (74) has, most likely, a blown engine, but between the two, I should have enough to put together something that is a start. (And yes, the 74 is the one that is going to be put back on the road.)
It's nice to finally get to point in life where I have a wife that understands how much I need to be able to do this and to have the resources to put together a toy.
Thanks to all the people that have been posting these years to keep the flame alive.
Just thought I would share. Now, guess it's time to quit talking and pick up the tools and get back to work.
