and said hello to my new ride: '06 1/2 ton.... i know its a bit of a "downgrade" from my 1 ton suburban but for me it's more like an upgade... on the street at least i still have yet to see how she handles offroad! :D

i just didn't have the time to fix my suburban... driving it home one day and the steering column decided to self-destruct and it being my last dependable vehicle, it was time to say goodbye and get something a little newer.

oh no, you won't hear the last of me! i'll be here to lend a helping hand and offer some advice (and probably ask a lot more questions) to the online community....

here's a question right now: my truck sags just a little bit in the back... do you think an ORD 1'' Add a leaf will cure it? or should i get the pro comp 1.15''? its not sagging that much at all but it's noticeable. on my suburban i fixed this by switching from 4.5'' to 6'' shackles... so im wondering about the sizes here.

another pic of the "saggy butt syndrome". springs are stock with 4'' blocks and 1/2 ton springs.

but other than that small detail it sure is a sweet truck!

ya i already see this whole "ifs" deal ending badly... to answer your question... whenever i get the money!!! so probably when i'm done with school

you could also drop the torsion bars a hair if there is room, just make sure to get it re aligned.

Right now, you've got the "pre-runner" look. I like it as is. But, of course, it's your truck. I've never had a new Chevy truck, so I have no other suggestions.

on the money on that one, really there is nothing wrong with the truck, the springs are not wore out its just how those lift kits work, like RJ said either lower the front a tad bit or put the add a leaf in the back.

or if you wanna spend the money swap some 3/4 ton springs in.

great looking truck by the way. how many miles? and if you dont mind sharing what did you pay for it?

i'd add another leaf to the rear pack, those springs are so soft from the factory. mine sagged with a 300 lb dirt bike in the back.
