Ok so i finally found a 32 spline sm465-205. The 205 has a fixed yoke rear too. woohoo! so how much you guys think is fair. its a good ways away (about 3 hours) so i figure 80 for gas and im hoping i can get it for 150-200. no shifter on it and the guy left the pto cover off for a month so theres slight surface rust on the gear face but nothing bad, im not worried about it. i have a shifter already from a prvious project too... what do you guys think its worth?? thanks alot!

yeah 150-200 isn't bad. Not a steal, but fair.
The shifter changed along with the adapter in 1985, sorry to report. The longer output shaft puts makes the adapter 3" longer, the older shifter won't clear the cut in the floor.

He was just saying that if you already had a 205 in your truck that the t-case shifter would no longer align with the factory hole.
Either way, it sounds like a steal to me, that is, if the internals aren't pitted from rust. Shifters are a dime a dozen.
