I bought this Jimmy in 2003 and am finally getting out of the shop. That's my son driving and he has been waiting to try it since he was in high school.

nice! always feels good to get to drive a finished project!

A truck that nice shouldn't have a hardtop on it.....

Hang that top in the rafters of the garage, and get some wind in your hair!!! :D

Chalet2506 - thanks for the feedback. A friend of my father used to have one this color when I was a kid - and it wa new!

ashman - it's far from done but it's great to start driving it.

Greg72 - thanks - I might have to take off the top since I don't have the funds to fix the A/C right now

First time on public roads since 2003. I drove it to the muffler shop today. It sounds good with open headers, but a little too much of a good thing! Still wandering all over the place even though I fixed the spring mounts but the new suspension and F/E rebuild will happen this winter if all goes right. The Trans Am buckets I put in that seemed so comfortable sitting in the shop, feel really reclined on the road.:doah:I am just stoked to finally drive it.
