Been in SC for 9.5 months.

Wednesday I do the 700+ mile drive home in the M1009. In goes the ear plugs with the MP3 player (since I havent installed my radio yet).... load the cooler with Diet Pepsi.... high tail it out!

Which way are you going through Ohio? You might be going right past my back yard.

More than likely I will be heading up 75 most of the way. If I can leave early enough was thinking about a different route, but since I have to work on Thursday (), I will probably be just getting home as fast as I can.

Why all the way over to 75? What about 77 north to 70 west to 71 north to 23 north then hit 75 north? Thats how we come home from vacation in N.C.

Its 100 miles longer. The only reason I was thinking about 23 is because I think it would be a more enjoyable drive? A little less 'highway'.

I was planning on taking 2-3 days and take my time... but they are really whining to get me back as soon as possible.

My back yard faces 23. I live in Delaware about 25 miles north of Columbus and I work in Upper Sandusky which is right on 23 also. So if you go that way let me know and I will get you my # incase you need help.

2-3 days? You must drive a lot slower than I do. :D

Well, I was going to take my time through the mountains and take all 2 lane roads... go up through West Virginia, etc. But, not going to happen.

Oh, and I will be in a M1009... its slow going no matter what.

Well like I said if you do happen to take 23 let me know and yes I need a new yank strap. Maybe I can get one soon.

I have Thursdays off. Where I work is only about 10 mins from 75. I guess it realy depends on when and which way you will be comming through.

If you come up 23, there is a full service junk yard in Circleville. It's called Marshall's, and they are dirt cheap... almost pick-n-pull prices.

When I come back from visiting family in Charlotte, we take 77, to 64, then 35, then finally 23. It's a nice drive and doesn't really add any time.

Well Wednesday I will be at work, Thiel's Wheels in Upper Sandusky right on 23 and close to 75. Maybe I can get a new strap? I will see if any of my buddies need one also.

Came back from Charlotte all the way on 77....smooth sailing all the way, no construction to speak of, no delays. Canton was somewhat of the normal cluster fock though at 5pm.
