Well, it turned sunny and un-humid enough for a day so that I could actually throw some paint at my jalopy. I think it looks kinda plain being all one color. I'm gonna have a friend draw out some tribal flames on the front. So what color should they be? I'm thinkin black because after all, it's a trail beater. Oh yeah, please excuse the plastic jack-o-lantern that was placed there without my approval. :D

looks nice and I like the jack o lantern!!! Maybee the K5 has a new nick name now!!! :D

You won't be loosing that in a Minn. snowstorm! Way cool...

That looks Great!!!:thumb: What about some black/charcoal ghost flames on the front?

That's what i'm planning on mine eventually, a midnight blue base with silver ghost flames off the front. That way i can work on my paint skills and still have a decent looking rig.

A friend of mine can do killer flames, so I think I'm gonna try to get him to lay out a tribal style set of flames with a sharpie or something and then I'll just follow the lines and mask and paint. I'll probably use a little bit of technique so they aren't completely black and just do a ghost sort of deal, hopefully it'll turn out good. I would leave it like it is, but if you look at in person it looks kinda like a big bright brick, and a little plain. Maybe putting the top back on (which I painted black) will help a little.

I'm thinkin about a jack-o-lantern theme on the sides. With flames and such coming off the back of the said carved pumpkin.

It's all your fault for paintin that thing that cool orange.

Reminds me of my old orange k5

Haha, sorry Cegusman, I thought of your truck as soon as I got the front clip done. I kinda felt bad but then I remembered you stripped it and your new one is camo.

looks pretty close to mine... :D

very nice job man, looks way cool. black flames all the way!!! :saweet:

Personally I love solid colors. Wish I had never done camo sometimes. Looks awesome!

seems your truck is taller than your garage door. do you have to flatten your tires to get it in the garage? just looks like a tight fit mine is outside only due to this prob.

Well, I've only taken it out once since I started, and I just had the rear done. I aired the rear tires down to almost nothing and aired the front tires down to 8 pounds. The rear had the boggers on it, but the front had 32's. I'm gonna try and take it out on Sunday, I'm planning on airing down the rears and rolling the front out on a floor jack. We'll see how it goes.
