I just picked up my Lincoln 175. Got a deal on it and walked out paying $476, brand new. It's the whole "starter" kit. MIG gas fittings, couple spools of wire, some instructional stuff, and a ghetto sheild. I'm glad I kept ahold of my full mask....

I wish it would stop raining so I could go set it up and lay some beads. Hasn't rained in 3 dern months an now all of a sudden we got t-storms. Arrrrrr.

Thanks to all the guys who post up on welders and welding.

It's all about the price matching!

Welding store had it for $620.

Home Depot had it for $599, so the Welding store matched it plus 10%.

Then I walked on over to Lowes and had them match it plus 10%. It could have kept going, but at this point I figured it was a good enough deal.

I also got my TV the same way. Paid $250 for a new 32" Sony Wega.
