i have been intrested in k5's for ever........and i finally picked one up.:)
it is a 1987 jimmy 101,000 miles,new trans,flowmaster,tan interior runs real strong.now time for the bad needs a floor&doors...lol cant win them all.
i plan on a 6" lift d60/14bolt FF 37" tires etc.all ideas will be appreciated......thanks guys great site:bow:

congrats! and welcome. we all started somewhere. i have had mine for for 4 years now , and im constantly doing something to her.

Thank you sir,thats in the ball park i'd like to be.I wanna use the truck as a week end/goof off truck.......pull my boat around.....drive couple hours to the trails and pretty mutch beat the hell out of it and drive home.....im not asking for mutch am i LOL.any combos you guys have will be appreciated
 
When you start taking parts off like carpet or trim let me know. I am looking for the rear inside trim panels over rear wheel wells.

Be ready for the bug it starts small and grows!

Looks like a great start! Once you get it ready for wheelin, we will have to go to Badlands, u ever been there? What condition is the top in? I've got a couple I want to get rid of as well as some other chevy parts. PM me if you need anything :wink1:

thanks,i never made it to the bad lands,this will be the first truck i try to wheel.my top is fair,it will most likely be off all spring/summer/fall and put back on for the winter only:cool:.put a list of parts together and pm me
