OK guys I bought a 95 454 complete with all the acc, wiring harness and computer. Id really like to leave it FI, but the easy way to go would just be to carb it and be done. Im really wanting to leave it FI, but Im worried about having to hook the computer up . My two options are to just carb it and get it on the road and maybe FI it later or should I just bite the bullet and leave the FI on? If I carb it Ill have it going ASAP if I leave the FI on its gonna be a more long term kinda deal. What do you guys think?
 
If you have the parts to leave if FI, DO IT.

Don't swap to carb. If it runs on a carb, you'll be too lazy, like most of us, to switch it back.
 
Painless Wiring should have a harness that will help get everything plugged in. A friend did the same swap in a weekend.
 
Painless sells the harness for 350 ish. I guess thats really the easiest way to go. Now what about headers. Should I go headrs or willI have problems with the ECU?
