I ordered 42x14 iroks on friday and picked up my new wheels on saturday.
I think the tires will be here on friday. I paid $1397 shipped for the set of tires, so i feel i did ok. The wheels i bought used for $175. I ran out of money so i couldn't get new wheels. I'm so excited i cant even concentrate at work.

Yes it will be a big improvement, i would be excited too. I also can't wait to see the pic's.:D
 
very nice! you wont regret getting the iroks i loved mine, next ones will be 42's :) what size rims are you running?
 
I had to go with the 16.5x9.75 because i couldn't find a 16x10 wheel.
I wanted a smaller wheel to keep the classic look. The irok came in every wheel size, but i looked for over a month for a wheel that would look classic in a 16x10 and everytime i would find one it was discontinued. so when these centerlines hit craigslist i immediatley ordered 16.5 tires cause i new i was gonna buy them. I feel it will look nice on my classic truck.

I spent yesturday polishing the new wheels up, and now i just wait for the tires to show up......nobody in town had the 16.5 tire in stock, so they had to order from interco.
 
i drove mine on the public streets like this. it did killer burnouts with 5.13s:haha:

Well last time i wrote on this thread they were ordered. Then they call me to tell me there was a nationwide backorder on the 16.5 wheel size.
Nice. i already bought the 16.5 wheels. 4 wheel parts had a set in there warehouse, so those are posed to be here tommorow.

The waiting is killing me.

Anyway....should have pics up by tuesday.

ps. yes i drove it to work on the 32's and must admit.......i got teased just a bit. ;)
 
darn, im looking to buy 42 iroks for 16.5's as well:mad: looks like ill have to wait a little
 
I took the iroks out for a spin yesturday and what an increadible tire they are. I also bought the double beadlock stazworks rims , so I aired the 42's down to 5psi and off they went. It was raining all day , and we we're wheelin on wet mossy rock with lots of tree roots and dirt thrown in, I put the 2 cases in low and away the tires took me. The guys running the trail on boggers couldn't make it look as easy as the iroks did:D
