Well, the idea was pondering in my mind for a few months now. And today I made the plunge and spent 114.31 american on 7 books. It's kind of alot, but I wanted these so I can learn. Here is what I ordered:
"Metal Fabricator's Handbook", "Auto Math Handbook: Calculations, Formulas, Equations and Theory for Automotive Enthusiasts", "Big-Block Chevy Performance: Modifications and Parts Combinations for High Performance Street, Racing, Marine and Off-Road Use", "Engine Builder's Handbook: Inspection Machine Reconditioning Valvetrain Assembly Blueprinting Degreeing Cams Tools Engine Assembly", "Welder's Handbook: A Complete Guide to Mig, Tig, Arc & Oxyacetylene Welding",
"Chassis & Suspension Handbook: How to Build Rugged Off-Road Suspensions for Chevy, Ford, Jeep, and Dodge Vehicles"
4 Wheel & Off Road Magazine, "The Step-By-Step Guide to Engine Blueprinting: Practical Methods for Racing and Rebuilding"

As some may know, I am in the planning mode of building an engine. So that is why most of the books are on that. Just had to jump for joy... they should arrive in a couple weeks /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I'd buy something for the blazer, but I am waiting for drivetrain, then mods, so far, the drive train is no where to be found /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

where did you order your books from?

I'd be interested in these...
-"Welder's Handbook: A Complete Guide to Mig, Tig, Arc & Oxyacetylene Welding",
-"Chassis & Suspension Handbook: How to Build Rugged Off-Road Suspensions for Chevy, Ford, Jeep, and Dodge Vehicles"

Yeah those 2 were the first 2 I wanted. I got them from Amazon.com because they're 3 dollars cheaper for each book, compared to Summitracing.com, or jegs.com.

Well, they finally got here today, came with a bunch of bags full of air, so it was fun while it lasted. Now I have 7 books to read /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif First one is the chassis and suspension book from 4wheel off road. It has everything from rollcages to shocks /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif
