finally pulling tranny, help wanted

i will be pulling my th400 in Arroyo grande, Ca on saturday

if anyone feels like giving a hand thats cool

You'll find it isn't a half bad job to pull :) Probably have it out within an hour or two working by yourself. I'd recommend getting a proper transmission jack though, cause it'll be very tail heavy with the 205.
 
took me longer to clean up and slide the tranny out from under teh k5, than it did to pull it.

Putting it back in on the other hand was a chore with only one jack...

DONT FORGET TO SUPPORT YOUR MOTOR!!!!
I have to buy a new cap cause i didnt support it enough, and might have hurt the dizzy...
 
Pull out the T-case first. A chunk of 2X4 between the right cylinder head and the firewall, will protect the dizzy. Definetely use a tranny jack.
 
i am planning on using an engine hoist through the removable tranny cover

i have a diesel so no dizzy worries for me, but i will support the engine
