So I renewed my membership finally so here are some pictures of stuff, mainly my new daily driver that I have not been able to share a picture of yet, but have posted a few things about it. It's an 89 Jimmy, all original, 224k miles, nothing rebuilt. I traded my 95 Jeep YJ for it back in October. The guy I got it from bought it from his best friend who bought it new, so I have all the history on it. Its super clean but does need rockers and rear wheelhouse patches. Other than that, its clean. Original paint even looks halfway decent. Interior is an 8/10. I had wanted a TBI blazer for while that was unmolested, and this fits the bill pretty well. Plans as of now are to fix the rust and paint it and then maybe drop in a crate motor and rebuild the trans and t case. It runs and drives just fine and I have driven it several long distances since getting it but I would like to be able to drive it back and forth to the beach frequently without problems.

So far I have rebuilt the rear axle, replaced the rear shaft u joints, Ac compressor, blower motor and thermostat and installed a few trim parts that were missing from the interior and new door locks.

May throw a 4 inch and 35s on it in the future but its not going to be a wheeler and I am enjoying it as much as I imagined I would in stock form, I like em that way.

Its nice having all of this modern stuff on a cool old truck. AC, PW, PL, intermittent wipers, lighted sun visor mirrors lol.

I like it!
But I think that you should change the title, something like, " here's my Jimmy! "

:haha:
