finally runs

So I have a 400-350-205 combo in my scout. I was going to run a tbi off of a 91 on it. I collected all the sensors and re-work a factory harness for it. It would always start but just would not run right. After messing with it off and on for a few months I decided to dump it and put a q-jet and hei in it. Did the whole swap yesterday and for the first time in a couple years my scout runs great. Thats all. I dont think the positives of the tbi outweigh the pain it was trying to get it to run right. All I need to do is hook up the kick down cable on the tranny and I should be good to go.

Cool scout. What happened to you is why I still run a carb on my 72 blaz. Just am not ready to tackle that project.
