Spent all day Sunday getting this thing out. It's been there in that cutover since September. The front was hung up on a log and a rod decided to go through the oil pan. Finally after 6 months and hours of winching we got her out.

Damn Dude six months sitting out there!!!! :eek1::eek1:What took so long? At least you got it out eventually. Good luck on the motor rebuild.

that's hilarious, you took procrastination to a whole new level. It makes me feel better about having my junk up on stands for 13 months and counting now.

It's always good to have project going on. I think I like working on a truck just as much as driving it.

seems to me like you need a new place to work on it... how's Buffalo sound...!?

wow, that is crazy. guess it was in a safe place huh? what other carnage did that stuck cause...just curious?

Smart man... I've got almost 2500 in storage bills on mine now. 2 years and counting.

Around here some kids would have stripped it to the bone and set it on fire though.:crazy:

Ouch!!! That's alot. But it's understood, better to be safe and broke than sorry...

It must have been in sight of your house or somebody you trust to leave it like that. Everything would have been taken or destroyed by the local punks here too.

Not much really. Cutovers are pretty rough with all the stumps and old logs.

I tore the shocks off a while back and the rear brake lines always seem to get ripped off. The only carnage besides the motor was the front tire rod. It bent the 1.5 inch, .375 walled ORD tire rod. The assist ram was close to getting it.

I think the motor went because of the angle it was at. I don't think it was getting oil.

It was on some family land. Two iron gates to get through.

my storage bill is basicly nothing.

little old lady cross the street never drivin in her life. has 2 car garage setting there . my truck in 1 bay and moms mustang in other bay.

all i have to do is plow snow out of driveway in winter and salt. then mow lawn in summer and fix basic stuff around house if needed and asked to.

cant beat that. :haha::bow::D

Buffalo sounds cold. :D I was just up in East Windsor, NJ three weeks ago. I picked up a 86 K30 silverado. Cummins swap is the plan for that one. :eek1:

Some punk kids stole it and parked it on the train tracks. Got hit pretty good. We save the motor, rear axle, doors, and some suspension. Rest was toast.
