finally Ima start wrenching on my K5, its been way to long. I'm gettin info from a guy (number and address) to go pick up a 3/4 ton 14 bolt, 4.10 open, this weekend. Wheres the cheapest place to get black 15x8 steelies with a 8 on 6.5 lug pattern?? I know summit is fairly cheap. Im going to buy new 8 lug hubs and rotors and find some backing plates and swap them onto my front axle. Then gear both to 5.38 and put some 39.5 Iroks. The axle will be thrown in and the front outers swapped sometime this month. I still gotta buy a shackle flip, some IFS rear springs, 4 inch Rough Country springs, 1in bodylift, gears and detroit for the rear before I buy the 39s so give me till christmas and I should be sitting right. Ima hate it for my front axle.

If you have Farm and Fleet stores in your area, they used to be dirt cheap on steelies.

just checked summit and the chrome wagon wheels (15x8 with 2.5in backspacing) are on back order. They have US wheels unpainted 15x10 with 2.5 backspacing for $62.69 ea.

your going to need more then 4inchs of lift if you want to clear them 39.5s with out major trimmng. be better to just take the fender off...

Wouldn't be all that major, maybe he want's major anyway.

see you even posted about zero rate add-a-leaves. you know you can more your front axle forward a lil bit so the tires wont stuff into the fire wall right?
