I've an 86 Burb with a 4" lift and I'm putting 35x12.5R15 on it this weekend. I know I will have to do some trimming on the finders but not real sure how much or where:confused:. I've read the finder trimming tips page, but I'm looking for a little more info before I start attacking my rig with the saws-all. Any advice or pics would be great.

Dunno, I don't have any "finders" on my truck. I trimmed the hell outta my fenders though.:doah:
:haha:

Thanks for the link. That helped alot. Now I have a good idea of what I want to do. I'll post some pics when I get it done.

I can give ya some tips on how we used to cut our full sized rig fenders sometime.

Yeah that would be great. I've seen yours and Johns rigs running around before, but never paid much attention to how your finders were cut. Just let me know sometime when would be good for you.

Still around? I'll be at the car show in Powell tomorrow. Bring your burban out to the race next weekend.

Yeah I'm still around. I was going to come out the other weekend and give you guys a hand at the track, but I was sicker than a dog. I might be able to get down the car show tomorrow for alittle bit not sure yet. Yeah I plan on coming out there to watch the race next weekend.

Hey I finally trimmed my fenders. Well I let a buddy do it my hands are to shaky, but it looks great just alittle sheetmetal work and they are done.

Looks good. Bring it out next sunday and try it up coalminer hill again with us.

The 10th we are gonna do a play day. Also got a call from a guy who knows a guy selling a 1-ton chevy truck for $1000.

Yeah I'm not going to make that one. Yeah I wish I had a the money, but this trip to AK has broke the bank.
