i know that the paint options should be in the glove box printed on a paper. but its not there on my blazer. is there a way to find out the original paint options which came out of the factory by using the VIN number or a way to contact GM to get it?

What year are you looking for? I had to do the same with mine. I did a google search for the year and found out what mine was. But I also found some of the original paint on the truck, so it was a little easier.

There’s charts out there but in my experience, 73-80 had a ton of colors you don’t see on the charts.

I had a truck painted a GM factory color from a different model. I wanted to keep the color when I redid the truck. I knew the rough year of the color from the previous owner but not the name. My local NAPA mixes paint and they had several books full of color samples by year and manufacturer. I was able to find "Quasar Blue" quite easily and had them mix up new paint for me. --Just looked at your location.....any NAPA's in Saudi Arabia?
