got my lift in today, started at 4pm and got done at 10pm. what a long day. there are a few little things that i need to do, like get longer shocks. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif the rear bolts up, but i have about 2" of down travel. fronts are 1" too short.

i really need 4" blocks for the rear, instead of the 3" tapered, the front sits too high.

i jacked the front up with a 6x6 block of wood as far as the jack would go, put the jackstands on the frame and the tires were still touching the ground. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif i think the plow and me jumping it killed them. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif but i got 3 out of the 4 bolts out of the front springs, i was shocked.

i also had a kinda funny thing i did that my buddy kept picking on me about. after i cut the rear ubolts off with the torch, i crawled under to put the block in and noticed a hole in the axle tube /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif so i had to get the welder out and fill it in /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif it was right betweet the spring perch and the shock mount, very hard to grind down for the u bolt.

sorry no pics yet, i didn't take any before or during pics, but i will take some after pics.

my list of things to do tommorrow (mainly to remind my self as ill prolly forget)
SHOCKS
put front driveshaft back together /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
clock transfer case back down /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
see if i can adjust the draglink
collector gaskets
put 35s on it
trim fenders

then its off to the dunes. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

here is my front driveshaft, i was just waiting for it to pop out and start flopping around. it didn't even after catching a little air and flexing it out abit. there is 1.75" spline enguagement.

Re: findly, my lift is in

they are lighting holes, gives better gas milage /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

the REAL rust is only on the drive side, the pass side has almost no rust, just a rusty replacment door.

BTW, here is what it did look like from the front
