Finished my amplifier relocation. *PICS*

Hope your not planning on putting a cover over that. It wont cool at all. Right now I thinks itll be ok but leave it the way it is so you dont fry it out.

I have mine covered in same location. Have not had any heat problems yet. Of course your amp is a "bit" larger than mine so that may be a factor. If I do end up having any problems this summer, i will cut a vent hole and install a fan on the door, then mesh over in black to keep the hidden look.

I've got a small (about 5x5" x 1" deep) 12V electric fan if anyone wants it. 2-wire hookup. I haven't tested it to make sure it works, but I can. Cost of shipping and it's yours.

No plans for a cover at all. It is under the rail on the bed, so the sun and weather won't really get to it too much, and besides, I really like the blinky lights it has on it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have basicly the same setup,One amp on passenger side, one one drivers.I just left the ashtrays out of the side panels.I dont know if all k5`s are the same,But there`s more room on the drivers side.My soundstream 10.0 is on the driver side it hasn`t thermal tripped yet.after about a half hour cranked up all the way it smells like I just painted my blazer. So it must get pretty warm.Jon
