I posted some progress pics a couple of weeks ago. Well, I finally got to work on it again. It's finally finished! Let me know what you think.

The winch box is 1/2" plate except for the front piece which is 1/4". The bottom bars are 2" 1/4 wall CDST, the prerunner is 2" 1/8 wall, and the bars above the headlights are 1.5" 1/8 wall.

Took me a few minutes to find the truck in that picture :D . Awesome work though, bumper looks great!

Is that a dually D60?
No, it's a SRW D60 out of a CUCV, I've just got 15x10 wheels with 2.75" BS that give it that wide stance (I was lazy and didn't want to grind my calipers much).

Alright, another question:
I had a guy lined up to buy my old "bumper" for $75 (more of a winch box really, just a good solid place to mount a winch, fairlead, and a couple of shackles [pics below, just in case anyone else is interested and he backs out]). Anyway, he asked me to email him some pics of my new bumper when I got finished. Well I did, and now he wants me to build him one just like it. I never really intended to get into the bumper business, but it wouldn't be that hard to build another one... I've still got the drawings and I could use mine as a model to go from, no more figuring angles, just measure and duplicate. So here's my question, what would be a reasonable price for a bumper like this (my new one pictured on the previous page)? I can get it on a truck already heading his way (Nashville, TN to LaGrange, NC) so the price I tell him would include shipping to his area. Don't go too low, the worst thing that could happen is him say no... no skin off my a$$.

Oh yeah, and thanks for all the compliments. Keep 'em coming, they're making me want to get started on a rear bumper/ tire carrier.

you looking for a $ figure for your new tube bumper or for the "winch box"? I dunno about the winch box, but for the tube bumper I think $400 would be fair. I know 4x4iron ones were more than that, but I always thought they were kinda over priced. ;)

First figure up your cost in materials, then your time. add those up measure and weigh your bumper and calculate shipping. add some more to the top and thats your number. It probably wont be cheap. but dont cut yourself short, If you are doing it to turn a profit great, but at least get paid for your time and expenses

Well, I don't have much in this one, but that's because I got the plate for free, and had the laser and brake work done "under the table" for next to nothing.

I was thinking $550 delivered? Does that sound reasonable? It would be shipped in primer.
