Did you smooth it? If so, Would you mind sharing how you did it, and what you would do differently? Looks good!!!

Thats FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL BUD!! Very nice job!!

yes it is ! cant wait to see how bad it will make the rest of the truck look.

I painted my topper a nice Marine White. It made the rest of the truck look dingy and dirty. Hate to say it, but the top will stand out and really show how faded and bad your truck paint is. lol. Just being honest.

Cant wait to see what you did, my tops getting in pretty poor shape, have strands showing on the roof, so Id like to refinish it, but I may just coat it in bedliner, not sure yet.

Mine was real bad also,it depends on how far one wants to go with it.From what I have read some have used bedliner and liked it and I have considered it to in tell I sat down in the PPG paint shop and pulled the original paint colors out.

It was on then! all the colors even the texture additive used on the top are at hand if wanted.

I will get some more detailed info up for everyone this weekend dont have time now got to go make some money !!!

Personally, I think the tops look much better smooth (and shiny). I did mine similar to yours before painting. I used a Dyna-glass on the seams to eliminate them. Now 2 years later I can see a faint line behind each side window, showing where the seam used to be. Maybe something shrank?

So are you painting the whole truck or just the topper?

Yours looks good to ! I will also paint the truck but I have to get after some rust areas first. Looking for some gm tin I can use instead of aftermarket stuff.
