Finishing up my lift - options?

This weekend I installed a 4" tough country lift on my '72 K5. It is all on there, and I like the way it looks, but I have the following problems now:

1) Both my front and rear drivelines are too short. They almost bolt into the yoke, but are about 1/2 inch too short at full extension. Can I make this up by lowering the transfer case, or should I just go to a driveline shop and get these extended?

2) Need new brake hoses. I have been reading the ongoing threads about the hoses from napa. Since I have a D44 upfront, I think I am going to go with some braided lines instead of modifying the napa hoses.

3) My e-brake cables are too short now. I can get them to connect back up, but they rub against the rear spring a bit. What are my options here? Just lose the e-brake? Move the brackets on the frame down a bit?

Any suggestions?

You may want to lengthen the shafts if they are already extended and don't fit , so you don't push them through your transfercase . I have six months on stainless hoses and no problems yet . I have seen some pics of a member here who lowered their e-brake brackets with good sucess on a second gen , could possibly work on yours if its simillar . /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

the only thing I can tell you is about #1 I would get new drive shafts even if you drop the tcase youll still only have and inch to play w/
