Finnally tommorow my blazer will be running. After what started out as a tub swap for my 78. I had bought a 77 tub not realizing the frame would have to be modified to fit. I sold the tub and while looking for a new tub I found a 84 m1009 at a auction that had been stripped. So now my moto, trans, tcase, doors, top and interior are all in my 84. Alls that is left is plug wires and it should run. Hopefully it all goes good. It is quite a accomplishment for me I feel. For I have never done this much on my own and now doing so it feels great..

What us the diff between 77 and 78? Frame is different?

Scott: It must make you feel great. I just finnished a one year blazer project myself and it feels real good. Time to lock in the hubs.

No, Mine first. He won't have to drive as far to work on mine!

I think 78 was the first year that the back passengers got foot wells, so the frame was different to clear the foot wells, I think, I'm not sure though.

Yeah Jeff thats when they changed. Its still no where near done but it will be driveable. So when ya see a green truck with maroon doors driving around town that'll be me or my brother. I still have to put the lift on etc.. but thats all gonna have to wait for awhile Im just happy it'll be running.
