It works. I gallon fire Ext. as air tank. It builds 160 PSI pressure in one minute. Under the hood. Saw it yesterday.

Think I'll make me one.

It was on Bobby's truck. No pic's at the moment.
 
what kind of capacity(how long does it last)? Why not get a bigger used tank somewhere?
 
cool idea, wonder how much you can use it for maybe only one tire then wate for air up, not too bad.

just make sure there not too old.

they need to br hydrostaticly tested ever 12 years, but most just get new ones (about the same price)

maybe call up extinguisher services and see it they have some untested ones they have replaced
