sweet :waytogo: gonna run like a champ! :D

what fan setup are you running there?

Ok.....minor point here.

Time to get that steering wheel pulled off and give the spokes a fresh shot of paint. Maybe a quick sanding of the wheel itself and a couple coats of polyurethane???

Everything else is looking so CHERRY, it's a shame to be staring at a wheel like that each time you drive!!

Have a great time tomorrow, I'll be up early sending "good karma" your way......

dude... i'm getting more excited the closer saturday comes... :D

can't wait to hear that "blup blop blup blop blup blop RRRRAAAAAAAAWWWWPPP!!"

Look out everyone... Burt is un-cageing his Ratified K/5!

... and you know i pulled a 454 last weekend in the junkyard in about an hour... so you better not be leaving the garage for very long. :rotfl: :rotfl: :D :thumb:

I like it! I'm settin here with a garage and driveway full of parts but gotta wait for the back to heal some before i can get goin on mine.
Burt, I hope you don't mind me livin the big block life vicariously thru you for a while:o

You're gonna have a tough time sleeping tonight! I know I was sitting in bed going over everything mentally to make sure I hadn't forgot anything.

Good luck buddy!!!! :saweet:

We will be hearing a sound clip, right ? ;)

Only You Greg, Ya the wheel is fugly. Now that your eyes are hurting from it, MR Perfectionist, I will have to drink a bunch of beer tonight and paint/polish it JUST FOR YOU hahahahaha

RB ~ Don't make me angry....you won't like me when I'm angry....
hahhahaa Can you tell me what movie that is from? hahahaa

mr_blasto ~ Will do:D

Old Dawg ~ Not a problem, keep your eyes open for a video post then you can pretend it is yours hehehehehee

YJ ~ Ya I think if I go to bed drunk then I will get a better nights sleep hahahah I have a mind that is sometimes hard to 'shut off'. Especially when something as fun as firing up a BBC is going on the next day:D

Thanks Guys....I'll post up as soon as I find time OK...
Later
Burt

Dang, that is a good idea - I'm on my third beer and now I have a reason to drink a few more, kind of like when you wife is pregnant and you have sympathy pains, I feel your excitement and shall drink accordingly. :D :D

Sawwwweeeeeeet!

I'm with you in spirit man... I'm hoping to fire mine up this weekend too. I thought about you a lot while I was installing my Pro-Flow. I'll be following this post closely!! I've been reading the Edelbrock manual over and over this week trying to get into my head how to work the calibration module and such.

Congrats. Can't wait to hear that BBC roar to life. :saweet:

:saweet: Bout freakin time man!

Hope things go well and that edelbrock fuel inj.performs for you.
I was going to go with the Edelbrock unit before I decided on the GM TPI.

I'm dying here! I called Burt once this morning, and once a few minutes ago....he's like -> <- THIS close to turning the key on that bad boy!!!! :cool1:

Scott's over there setting up the last little details, going over the final checklist and preparing to breathe life into 7.5 Liters of fury!!!! "The Terminator" is getting a heart transplant and YOU will all be witness to the unveiling........

Stay tuned!
:saweet:

Dude. That Rat just sounds wicked. :cool1:

It was surging when we first fired it up, and it was hesitating right off idle..
Once we got it timed and looked into the edelbrock MPFI programmer and started bumping up the % amount of fuel at idle, the surging stopped and it instantly starting running smooth...
Burt.. you might wanna keep track of all the little things you do with the programmer to tune it and get it to run perfect for you.. I predict others will be going with the pro flo setup in the future as well after you brag about how awsome that thing is running.
I'm scared for Burt's drivetrain.

Like Ryan said, it was surging at first but as soon as they dialed it in it sounded really good! That was one clean engine and install, I can't wait to see that truck in action after hearing it in the garage last night.
