First attempt at \"engine turning\" / Jeweling

Needed to make a new switch plate for all the lights for the plow set up I have and then some. So this is my first attempt at "engine turning" or jeweling. Next time I will use a 320 grit with a wooden dowel. I have yet to finish shaping the panel and mouting it.

Looks good. Def. change from the Diamond plate look.

Cool to see an old trick being practiced again. Time consuming, but worth it.

I used my Bridgeport Milling machine and digital readout while holding the part in a milling vise.

Holy crap that pic made me go blind! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looks cool as hail, but makes me think of those 3D pictures that you have to stare at for a while before you see what's actually there.

(Sorry, I slipped and hit my head on the toilet this morning...)
