Yesterday in the late evening, during a heavy rainfall, I noticed a nice looking, silver colored 4-door sedan on my right. I was in the inside lane heading home.

I just happened to glance over again and this character decided to speed up and shove me into the turn lane. He happend to catch the center of the rock slider and my front tire.

We pulled over into a Jimmy Johns parking lot to make sure nobody was hurt and exchange information. I saw the side of his car and then looked over at mine and almost started laughing. I know he was upset that he ran into me but he was also glad that I wasn't mad for what he did.

After some conversation, and him calling his mom, they decided to let it go since he was at fault. He claims that his window was fogged up and he didn't see me....Like stated earlier, it was raining pretty hard and he was going to go pick up his girlfriend at the time. We exchanged numbers just in case they changed their mind and need info for the insurance company.

Now....the reason I almost started laughing....you ever watch NASCAR racing.....when two cars rub together, you see the design of the tire, as it was spinning, imprinted on the side of the door and or fender?

Well, I didn't get a picture....and if I hear from them again, I'll try to get some pics.

The back door and rear fender on his drivers side has no curvature or outward bend.....it is "Flat" for about 4 feet and you can see my tire rub.

All I got was a scuff mark on the slider and scuff on the tire. Investment in body armour paid off. Thanks, Kert, for the awesome work you do at DIY4X.

Most important of all, nobody got hurt!!!

Glad everyone's OK.

Soooooooooo....how does one not hear a lifted Blazer on 37s with headers right beside them? He must have one kick-butt stereo.

.

I wonder if, since his car sits low, he was looking underneath my K5 and saw the reflection of the strip mall lights (the streets were wet) through his fogged up window.
