First major road trip!!!

this Saturday, 7/13, we are taking the Dually on its first long drive! Taking the first load from our NY house to the SC house!
To say I’m I little nervous is an understatement!
I’ve been hammering for the last week to go through the truck as much as I could. It’s a 14 hour trip, I plan on taking it easy. Normally, we’ll do this in 1 day, but breaking it up into 2.
Taking I88 out of Schenectady, to 81 south in Binghamton. Plan on taking 81 south through Virginia to 77. 77-85, 85 into Anderson SC.

Except for a little trouble with the hitch, I'd say the trip was successful!
The truck made the trip. a little over 2,400 round trip.
Mileage was less than I hoped for. averaged 5.5 with a loaded trailer down. 7.2 with an empty trailer on the way back.

if you dont have one try installing a vac gauge like this to help find the sweet spot of fuel economy . some times overdrive is not the best .

i was able to use a 3 gauge pod and open the center hole just a bit and remove the mounting tab from the gauge and slide / wedge it in and it works good up here . my dash pad was all cracked anyway so screw it .

pod was a ebay special for around 10 bucks . they have 2 pod also .
