Drove up to southern Wyoming this morning with a buddy to a new area we never hunted. Wind was at least 30mph. We spent a total of 15 minutes in our area before both of us took a shot and bagged our doe antelope. Had about a 200yd shot with my .270
Drove home skinned, quartered and cut it all up to make sausage.

My buddy snapped a pic of me hiking back to the truck

I decided not to take it to the butcher and we butchered on our own. This one will be made into breakfast and Italian sausage. If I get another this weekend it will turn into brats and summer sausage.

Heading out to eastern Colorado Saturday morning to try for another one.

Still have to buy a tag for elk
