so the brake light switch was sticking out too far and holding the pedal down some, i knew the brakes were on somehow but couldnt figure out why, so my performance wasnt what i was hoping for

brakes worked awesome

accelerated a little slower than i wanted, but the brakes were partially on, enough to slow me down kinda quick when i let off the gas.

so heres the video rundown
step on it
slam on brakes
steering goes out but i dont know it
step on it and try and turn left
slam on brakes and wave friend over
steering shaft came off of box, loose nuts i guess

Pretty sweet brother-man!
You gotta find a local 1/4 mile track and see what that sucka can do...well...as soon as you can go 50ft without somthing falling off that is:D.

next time, power steering is leaking too bad right now, i'm going to try and fix that today than maybe another test drive

Looks good so far... nice brakes.

you running that through mufflers/pipes yet?

not fast enough for you? it lays rubber on take off, seems pretty good to me:bow: sweet job man, i think its safe to yours is build not bought :haha: how close are you to getting it street legal?

painless wiring or 12voltguy? Really making me think I should ditch my console and factory wiring in favor of that setup. Was considering cutting the hole in the floor today too(trying to put a tranny in a V8 S10 with the engine moved back is NO fun)

windshield, speedo, mirrors for legal
extras
shocks, anti wrap, paint, radio, dash, roll cage, new seats, 5 point belts, narrow front, boat side, put tail lights into tail gate, patch light holes... more that i'm forgetting
