Im just in the dumps, Ive been trying to bleed my brakes for three days! I am having proportion valve problems and a new one is $180.

These trucks are tough! Looks like you had some fun.
Do you have the Summit catalog? I was just flippin through it and ran across an adjustable proportioning valve for $39.50. If you have the catalog its on page 197. If not check thier web-site http://jules.coloradok5.com
 
Have you been holding the pin in the end of the metering portion of the combination valve in the open position while trying to bleed the rear brake?

Dude, just go to the junkyard! I bought one for my truck there for $25 and it works fine. Haven't had any problems with it yet and that was a while ago!

I am pretty sure that the valve for my truck is pretty year specific! At least that is what the catalogs and the brake shops have told me. I ended up taking it in today! The guy called me and told me that he got the thing reset and pulled brakefluid thru the rear lines so I hop it is fixed! I will know more tomorrow!
