It appears to me you just ambled into that hole! Did you think you could idle through the hole? It appears to me you are hoplessly high centered. When the Jeep was attempting to pull you out did you even have the truck in gear there doesn't appear to be any watermovement around your wheel wells. One ton axles won't help you a bit to get through if you don't know what you are doing. Maybe you should stick to less deep mud for a learning experience. Crawl on rocks it's easier.

After rereading I see you were trying that in 2wd, if I were your friends I would have left you set there to think about what you were doing.
