Saw that too. Never heard of it until then. I'm in the beginnings of putting on an Atomic EFI from MSD. Chose the Atomic because of its rep of being pretty close to a plug and play. There are a couple more efi units out there that can handle boost and nitrous that have been out for a while. They just don't suit my needs so I didn't look to hard at them. From what I've researched the FAST efi unit is pretty fool proof and has been in the game for a while now.

Keep in mind self tuning, self learning systems can only be used with high vacuum at idle rigs. Rigs that have larger overlap cams will not work well or at all with self tune algorithm. This has to do with exhaust reversion and the amount of fuel that goes un-burned when both valves are open. The system sees this as a constant lean condition and will keep adding fuel. Exhaust length and O2 placement has an effect on this as well. Self tune/learn systems have their place, its just not as universal as advertised.

Edit, just went to their site. One thing to watch out for is the type of wideband O2 used. There is a big difference in how the pump cell works in a bosch 4.2 vs 4.9. 4.2 require free air calibration and many companies will set a base calibration for them. This can change over time as the O2 is used without free air cal. It would be interesting to see how they handle that or if they do. Bosch 4.9 do not require calibration.

From the video their low speed fuel control is horrible. The "Swirl" spray thing is a total gimmick. They would be better off concentrating on no puddling on the blades. Though, its nice to see them spray above the blades. This makes it more universal for intake manifold style. So the fuel puddles on the blades then distributes. Under the blade would make it puddle in the manifold, not good. I'm sure it will scream wide open but probably be finicky with TPS and MAP AE since the blades catch too much fuel.

I'm not very knowledgeable on EFI. Good points you brought up Team208. For my application it is basically a '85 K30 w/BBC with RV torque cam and all else is pretty well stock. I'll will get headers when I do the FI upgrade from carb. Scooby, I'll have another look at the FAST system. So many choices out there. I just want a plug and play, and I won't be needing any accessory controls, nitrous, etc. I'll be leaving everything else low performance and old school.

If that's the case I would look at the Atomic efi from msd. Other than a fuel pump to handle the psi and fuel line it should be drop on and plug in. You can add a bunch of other stuff to control timing and such but it's not needed. The
