Who all has done a fitech swap to their rigs?
Do you like the swap and would you do it again?

I'm think of putting one on the k5 just seeing what y'all have to say before I spend the money

lots of info on them in the injection section .

short answer = good no major problems.

fuel command center unit for mech fuel pump feed to make it high psi for unit kind of hit or miss.

easy to skip it via 87-91 blazer tank and sender with a 96 c3500 5.7 vortec fuel pump on the blazer efi sender . its a plug and play pump on our efi senders.

I will be using it on new plow truck and also us shift trans controller for 4l80-e and 203/205 doubler. my fuel system will be all gm parts like I said above but truck tank/sender for my style body .

I just got mine in last week. Hopefully I can make time this weekend to install it.

Lit it off today. Protip : the Fuel Command Center won't show any pressure on the low side when priming. Manual says crank 30 secs. Tech on phone said 7-10 sec. It wouldn't build pressure yesterday so I walked away on it. When I went back to the shop today, it showed 4-5 psi on the low side. I primed a little more and hooked up the hot wire for the FCC and then cranked it. Idle started at 1500, and worked it's way down. I haven't run it much and the throttle cable isn't back on yet. Hopefully tonight.
Video is a second start a few minutes later.
