I am planning on swapping in a 6.2 into my 85 K5 soon and also in the near future a 1 ton swap. Am I going to run into any fitment issues as far as exhaust or crossmember goes? I plan on running x-over and possibly hi-steer too. Ive got 6" lift springs in front and I will be running a zero rate as well so I will be able to move the axle. Thanks

i wouldent think so especially w/ having a lift, they were original equipment my 6.2 burban's springs are sagging and i have no clearence issues even w/factory duel exhaust, but i'm not running hy-steer but as i said b4 ur lift should take care of that, good luck and enjoy the diesel!

I run one tons and X-over underneath the 6.2 in my K5...no fitment issues at all. The only minor issue I had with the swap was some really minor firewall clearance issues. They were easily fixed with a bar and mini-sledge in the problem area. My truck was rear ended pretty hard a few years before the swap though, so it's likely the clearance problems stem from that.
