fitting 35x15.5 swampers on 2\" lift

I got a rust free 89 Blazer with a 2" body lift and I am going to put about a 6" suspension lift on when money allows.

I really hate to trim the fenders a whole lot, but how much would I have to trim them to fit to fit 35x15.5 tires till I get the suspension lift?

Thanks,

Trey

Why go 35's when u can go 38s with the 6" lift and the 2" body just wait and buy 38's

I second that remark...35's will look tiny with 8" of lift - especially if they're really wide (15.5 like you said). Go with a skinnier 38...it will allow it to turn into the fenders better (less hacking).

I am going to 1 ton axles very soon with 4:56s, that is part of the reason that I want a bigger tires to keep my RPMs down.

I am gonna put the suspension lift on it and right now I am planning on running 39.5's. But I dont have the money for the lift and the 39.5's now, so I was just wanting to put a slightly bigger tire on for now. Then when I do the lift I will upgrade to 39.5's too.

Sorry about the confusion

Thanks,

Trey

I have 6 inch and 3 body with 35's.....

They look really small!!!

yeah the width is going to kill you, you could probably fit them on, but steering wouldnt happen..
i had to do a little trimming with my 35*15s in the parking lot before i could drive away with a 4 inch suspension lift when i got them mounted...
so i basically second the A LOT statement
good luck
