Fitting the 472

ok well where do we start. I'm ready to undertake the engine swap, it's going into a 84 GMC serria. The engine currently is a mild 350. the truck already has a TH400. Dose anyone have a detailed instructions or tips on the engine swap.I think the hardest part will be makeing the engine mounts and the getting the adpt. for the tranny. Then it hoses and other stuff like that. Dose anyone know someone who has done this I can talk to. Anyone with ideas or know how please email me or call me. I'm hoping to go step by step and make this detailed enough to put this on my cardomain site so others can use this info later. Thanks

try the search function. search my user name & brandon c 's user name we & several others have done the swap. it has been covered many times

basically you want the upper hole for the engine mount on the engine to be level with the top of the frame.
