wow that sucks!!!! my auto teacher has his mud flaps held on with giant cotter pins. so he puts them on, gets the ticket done away with, then pulls them back off. just a thought. it takes him about 45 seconds to add or remove both.

my dad puts those on his STOCK 79 k-20 (to keep salt of the fender weels in winter) and it does an awesome job!! but looks wierd!

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha LOL just kiddin Bill i know one day they will get me for that...I have only been pulled over once in 5 years for a fix a ticket no mud flaps ,frame to high, headlights to high. I put my 33's on and got it singed off with a $10.00 fine... <font color="red"> 1 FN HI K5

my first thought...OMG
Second thought.... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
third..damn that will be me one day /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The neat part is that in AZ, my blazer is classified as an SUV, so no mud flaps, they are required for trucks though. I have a frienf who carries documents from a privious coart hearing where he was found innocent because his Blazer classified as a SUV.

The sad part....

Tom, get's pulled over last month for no mud flaps, he gets out the paper and smarts off, cop say's ok no ticket for the mud flaps....What about that rolling stop about a mile back there? And where you by chance not wehearing your seat belt?

I plan on using this method, but will be very polite to the police when they try and get me for it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

What if you registered as a car thats what I do here in MO. because the plates are cheaper than buying beyond local 6k towing capacity(truck plates).

BTW.... I think you could just use them as sails and save gas /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif really though that sucks /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

In Kalifornia Blazers are registered as cars not trucks.

Yep I feel ya. I got pulled over, the CHP told me some bs about how its not a fix it ticket anymore, its now $200 a side, but now I know he was full of [censored]. Now my blazer has big ass Peterbilt mud flaps, my trucks so big I actually dont think they look that bad, just pisses me off he lied to me.

i got pulled over for just that(cop didnt give me a ticket but i figured i should remedy the situation before i do get one). You should see my ghetto blaster solution. Ill try to post a pic of my "mud flaps" tomarow, they are realy funny /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I forgot to mention I can do that because of the rear seat, so they will let it go as a car or truck.
