I had a 89 C1500, I changed the rear gear to 4:10 from 3:42.
It threw the speedo off as expected. I couldn't find anyone who knew how to correct it.
So 8 years after giving the truck to the ex I finally come across a how to. It's the same as DRAC equipped trucks, just different.
Instead of jumpers, it uses 7 fuses. It blows fuses to get the input correct, same as removing jumpers.
And same as DRAC equipped vehicles a DIP switch can be installed and adjusted as needed.
Here's a how to from Chevytalk.com, complete with pics.
