Flag Mount For 91 Burb?

Hey all, I looked around but didn't really find anything... at all. I'm planning to go get some hardware and fabricate my own out of some brackets and nuts/bolts as I don't have access to a welder. But has anyone else made a bracket for a flag? Looking for ideas.
At the moment I'm planning to either get some all-thread and washers/nuts and make a post in place of my tow ball or make a bracket that slides and locks inside the tow hitch.

I know how to respectfully and properly fly the flag so I don't need a lecture on that.

Mine at one time had a roof rack, long gone before i got the rig. The brackets in the top are still there, i made some brackets out of aluminum and mounted flags to them. Using longer bolts in the roof rack mount holes.

Some guys here use chromed or stainless marine ones for boats,on their pickup beds..the kind the pole slips into and you tighten a thumbscrew to hold it in place..has a flanged base with bolt holes to secure it to the vehicle..

kinda of. but more like a rigid pole for my american flag so I can fly it around town

yeah I saw those on a website I was looking at. Doesnt seem very sturdy. I don't know if I'd trust it with a 3x5 at 50mph though.

thats more of what I was looking for thanks. I wonder how well it will fly behind the suburban though if theres enough flow to actually fly it or if the air bubble will more of just toss it around.
