I am wanting to put a flatbed on my crewcab before I wind up tearing up the dually bed that is on it now. Looking for one 9 foot long and wide enough to cover the rear tires, probably about 8 foot wide. I don't know if a cab and chassis style flatbed will work on the dually bed truck.
If anyone knows of a bed (preferably within a reasonable driving distance of Middle TN), please let me know. Thanks,

Russ

Too far, but I have one:D

I have one on a longer wheelbase K30. Its around 11.5' long and has wood floor. The wheelbase is like 165"-ish.
I was gonna cut the frame to make a trailer out it with the flatbed.

for sure you need to grab a tape and measure the width now from left to right outer tires. there is a few diffrent widths.

i have a c&c truck that was a dually but my flat bed i got for it cheep was to narrow for even c&c dually. so i swaped on singles all the way around.

c&c truck with stock dually rims and 255/85/16 tires no real weight on truck other than its self. http://www.coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209160&highlight=255%2F85%2F16 scroll down till my thread. first pic you can makeout the outer tire past the deck.

I appreciate the replies but need to try and locate one a little closer.

The truck has the D70hd under it, and is about 93" to the outside of the tires. That is why I was hoping to find one about 96" wide. I found one locally here that is 88" wide so the tires would stick out a couple of inches on either side. I don't know how much problem that would cause.

I appreciate the link, I will keep an eye on that one. It looks like it is about a 1300 mile round trip though, It would probably cost me more in gas than the cost of the bed.
Thanks again,

Russ

I've seen people get some flat iron stock and heat & bend them to form a radius and weld it to the sides of the flatbed to act as flares when compensating for tires that are wider than the bed. Didn't look bad at all.

Maybe too far, but might just work for you. I have no connection, just saw it.

parting out a 95 stroker 2wd 5spd good flatbed, lots of good parts this truck still runs and drives with over 1,000,000 miles on it that is no joke my fatherinlaw has owned this since 1997 any questions call 812-701-8317 don't get to the computer very often so call if your are interested in something. thanks kyle
