Flat Belly Pan with the Doubler?

Leaf springs don't control the axle as well as a link and coil suspension. It's not that it won't work with leaf springs it is just a little harder and requires more time and energy to get everything worked out.

A major design point of my front suspension was keeping the CV angle under 35 degrees when the axle was at full droop. I just barely got it done and this is with a high pinion diff too. I usually recommend checking your driveline angles carefully to make sure that you can get a shaft to work with what you want to do.

My initial setup was at a 15" ride height with 8" of droop travel. I've since dropped the suspension a little and remounted the shocks so they don't fall out quite as far but it still takes a lot of CV angle to make it work.
