There was a cover truck on one of the mags a while back. Red K5 with tube fenders. I can't find a pic of it now.

My fronts are already pretty trashed, so I figured, why the hell not?!

Does anyone else run the flat fender type look? Especially full width. I've seen plenty of the narrowed type, but I like the look of my 89-91 grille conversion. Anyone find a way to make it work?

Post up pics of them as well. :D

There ya go :D

I think to get the most benefit you have to remove some of the front grille too like this

That's the one!!! I didn't realize it was from 2003. :eek1: No wonder I can't find it.

I love that look. It's exactly what I'm thinking, except I need to figure out how to mount my grille as well.

Although the plow light set-up is pretty sexy.

Here ya go

DESCRIPTION-
George Gay --- [email protected] I'm George Gay, I live in skiatook Oklahoma. I grew up in Moab, Utah so wheelins in my veins. Here's some pics of my blazer and stats as follows: 85 Chevy blazer, TBI 350, 700R4 trans, duel transfercases- 203 & 205 (WMS doubler), 14 bolt rear with detriot, dana 60 front (35 spline outers) with ARB, 44 inch boggers, hydraulic steering, onboard air, warn 15,000 lb. winch, 4 wheel disc brakes, custom lift, and more .thx

i do like the look of it alot, but do you think it impeeds the view towards the front some? it looks like it does, on a climb it would. it might be kind of cool to taper the front then have some flattie fenders that are made with the diamond plate and tube and that are removable. just my $.02 cents.

an impeded view is the norm wheeling a fullsize unless you trim/taper/hack it to bits. it was mostly to remove wasted sheetmetal and improve tire approach :D
i hate wheeling his truck. my dodge is a fatty too. he is missin the floor of his bed so he can see good out the back. i could spot myself in my J**p.

Thats a great looking blazer. The thought of a flat fender never occurred to me. I think a slight taper towards the rear would be a great set up. Now, to use this without an exo-cage would be a little more difficult to do, but worth it for someone like me. The trees get tight on the jeep trails...

So you're feeling my pain?! :doah: Trails in New England are a little tight too. But I just LOVE sticking it to all the elitist Heep snobbers by taking mine places they say I'm "too big to fit" :D

I think it MAY impede visability a little in the front, but you'd gain that back by going with tube doors or doorless. Plus it wouldn't stick out any farther than an exocage. But I agree. trying to make it work without an exocage is a challange.

K10A I couldn't get the link to work.
