In my 2000 s10 with 4.3, 5spd, around 2000-3000rpms there are alot of flat spots in the power band, its pretty bad. Anyone have any ideas??

on 90's models, that's typical of a failing tps. so, that may be the case on your 2000, also. mine was under $20. backprobe the tps connection as you SLOWLY move the throttle through its full range. if at any point the voltmeter reads out of range, levels out, or spikes, or just acts wierd, the sensor is probably shot. i recommend a battery powered digital multimeter, like mine, for accurate readings.
