If I wanted to go to crossover steering on a 10b, can I use a set of flat top 44 knucles. Are they interchangable?

Yeppers, what tazz said.

Also, if you need someone to do it, Tazz is one the best/cheapest around to do it.

Cool. I'm gonna need a set for my SFA swap in the Tahoe.

Maybe I'll look up tazz then. :D Course, then I'd have to ship them ALL the way across the country..... :eek1: :doah:

Yeah, but you won't be dissappointed. He's doing a set for me right now so I can finish my D44/10B hybrid axle. I am building my D44, but doing a large bearing 10B spindle/hub 8-lug conversion on it. it'll be purdy!

I need a quick clarification.

Will any 44 knuckels work on a 10 bolt. I have a line on a cheap Dodge 44 with flat tops. Will these knuckles work? All 44's are basically the same as far as knuckles right? :dunno:

Thanks....

The Ford ones will not work. They have 5 bolts holding the spindle on. Chevy uses 6.

I think that the spindle "hole" is slightly different between Dodge and GM 44's. One is slightly higher than the other.

Mr. Beast...

I have 2 pairs of flattop knuckles!--one pair is sold to another member, but I have another pair still on a 1971 Dana 44 from a K10 suburban sitting in my yard..I'm only 20 minites from Providence,so if you're interested PM me!...The axle will be scrapped as soon as I can get the knuckles off--nobody wants the 3.73 gears I guess...I'd sell the whole thing cheap, rather see someone use it than scrap it..its missing one rotor and hub,but the rest is intact..
