I was searching for info on flat tops and cross over steering and of course found everything and more but one tech article stated to get the knuckles in pairs for camber caster. I just grabbed the rt side knuckle only. This is going onto a 10b. Has anyone here replace just one? Dont they make adjustble Ball joints or should I even worry and just run it.

Also I know ORD makes steering arms but are there any out there under 100$

u need to replace both knuckles. the flat top d44 knuckles mount the tie-rod on top or under the 10b knuckles, and the 10b knuckles mount the tie-rod the oposite way, just not sure which one is which way.

well im not 100% sure, but im pretty sure. if they arent the opposite, one sits higher than the other or something. i just remember reading that you should replace both at the same time.

yes, the D44 tie rod mounts on top, and the 10 bolt mounts underneath.

http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/ sells a tall and short arm for under $100

You can also avoid the tierod problem by going with hysteer crossover. The TRE's do mount from the top on a flattop & the bottom on a 10b. With hysteer the tierod is moved up to the steering arms so the problem of only replacing one knuckle is no longer an issue.

Damn skippy. I didnt even think of that and just started adding dollars to the project and making all complicated. OK High steer it is. Thanks that works.
