For blazer bash I am gonna flat tow my blazer down. Just curious as to towing guidelines for it.

It is a 1972 with the 465/205 with 12 bolt rear and locker. I know it is not the best thing, just curious if I should drop Driveline or not? Its only 120 miles or so to moab

I would drop the rear shaft and tie it up--towing info on my owners manuals all say towing more than 50 miles over 35 mph requires the shaft to be dissconnected--otherwise you may burn up the tailshaft bushing and other internal parts due to lack of lube..it only takes 10 minutes to do,so its not like its a real pain--easier and cheaper than having something go wrong halfway there ..
