I am flatbedding my K5. Is there anywhere can I put the apare tire other than on the roof, hood, at home, or on the flatbed?. I am running the K5 gas tank.

I welded a bolt to the "headache rack"(sometimes called a "window protector"--a angle iron frame with steel mesh to gaurd the window..) on my flatbed to hold my spare tire--it was about the only place to mount it other than under the truck,without hogging bed space..only thing that sucks about it is lifting a 100lb tire up to the bolt!..does not block your vision much if you put it on the drivers side...
